Angry 90 civic si suspension

i'm putting my eibach lowering springs in my 90 civic si. i got the passenger side in no problem but the driver side upper a-arm strut tower bolts, WONT go into place. WHY THE **** is it being such a bitch?? anyone, please help!

question - mine is an 02, so not sure, but Upper A-Arm does connect with the towers? They are not struts, but this is just a name anyway, so will leave at it.

Ya we need some pics of what you are talking bout. But on my car even though our suspension is totally different sometimes the bolts that bolt onto the knuckle sometimes dont line up so I use a screwdriver and put it through and pull it in to place.
