Question Missing stock stereo mounting hardware

I have a 95 Civic DX, and it has been without a stereo system since I purchased it. It looks like a previous owner or someone has removed whatever the stock stereo was mounted into the dash with. I figured I would be fine just installing my stereo with the mounting cage included with said stereo, but the cage is not large enough to fit the hole and I have no way to secure it. I checked an audio store to see if there was a special adapter needed like the 6th gen, but was told that since it was a single DIN, no adapter exists.

Does anyone have a fix for this? I'd also be very interested in knowing what the original Honda mounting hardware looks like.

Still working on this? Have you checked one of the honda parts websites (www.hondapartsdirect.com or www.hondapartscheap.com for instance)? They might show a line drawing of what the hardware looks like.
