Did you look for a corresponding connector?
What color are the stripes?
Are there any non-functioning accessories? light(s), A/C, heater, lighter, radio, wipers, etc.
EDIT: Just trying to narrow it down- Do the moonroof and brake lights work?
EDIT 2.0: Look at the very top right of the fuse box. Will it connect there? If it does, that means it was probably in a wreck and the airbags may not work right or work at all.
