Help! Rear Window Stuck Down!!!
92 civic.
I believe that the left rear motor died on this car. I have the door panel off and just trying to get the window back up.....any help?
I have searched all over the web and can't find anything, attempted to wiggle the window back up and no luck.
PLEASE HELP!
Thanks!

Re: Help! Rear Window Stuck Down!!!
update,
motor is rolling down, and then back up but stuck at a particular point. The motor is getting very very hot. I took some cleaner and tried to clean the tracks on the sides of the window. Attempting to cool the motor down and then hopefully I can activate the motor and pull the window up in about an hr

Re: Help! Rear Window Stuck Down!!!
OK, well after racking my brain out...i decided to go screw with it some more.
Fixed it temporarly.....which is good enough for me.
As stated above the motor would catch and go down but the window would not go above a point. Problem was that the plastic gear inside the motor was cracked.
Solution: I took all the bolts off the door that were holding the window motor and window frame onto the door. Took the entire piece out of the car, opened up the motors cover to inspect the teeth of the gear and internal pieces. I lifted the crank up and turned the gear about 30 degrees to remove the teeth from the crack on the gear. Hooked it up and rolled the window up. Window rolls up and down (a little) with no issue. Now to try and find a replaced gear for inside the motor....
Any idea where I can find this very small piece for the window motor? besides a junk yard?
