I recently got an automatic 92 honda civic hatch DX with a surging idle. I've read a few forums and tried cleaning fitv and checking for an air leak but couldnt find a leak and the surge is still the same. Car has new plugs and wires, throttle body without fitv, distributor, starter.
is there any other steps I can try to take or is it possible that when the previous owner deleted the fitv he forgot something or did something wrong? It surges pretty quick and my step dad said its revving kinda high rpm if that helps identify anything. Sorry new to car stuff. Thank you!
