Re: BAD vibration between 28-40 mph
My 95 civic coupe non-VTEC automatic 60,000 original documented miles has shudder or shutter or vibration issue only after driving a few miles (around 3 miles). The problem goes away after it kicks into next gear around 35 mph. Maybe sensor, solenoid, or ecu ? Torque converter ? Motor or transmission mounts ? I replaced cv axels, tires, spark plugs. Wires are good. Transmission oil replaced. Had distributor checked and timing aligned. Honda dealer service department can’t find problem. Maybe torque converter they said. They recommended wait for problem to get worse, since torque converter is expensive and may not be the problem ? Any suggestions from you experts out there ? Thank you for reading.
Re: BAD vibration between 28-40 mph
I was told to add a little Lucas oil by a friend retired mechanic. This will maybe eliminate transmission possibility if the problem goes away. I saw in thread too that lucas oil could help free up solenoid that could be the issue. Any thoughts ?
