Hello my name is Dante I have a 1995 Honda Civic EX 1.6 El I bought it a few days ago from its second owner who said it had idling problems and needed the throttle body replaced it I told up in down at about 1400 to 1500 rpm constantly and anytime you came close to that rpm range the car would have buck back and forth (it's a manual ). It runs fine or should I say ran fine in 3rd 4th and 5th years without problems. I replaced it with a new to the car throttle body which I cleaned and installed myself. After returning the car on, the revs went down to about 500 to 650 and further down when the lights were on. The car starts out much easier though I have to give it gas. However, it still book when it hits 1500 rpm in any gear. I cleaned all the throttle body sensors, the IACV, the air intake, checked for vacuum leaks and it still bucks and revs up and down. Any ideas.
