As of today my 2003 honda civic ex 12/9/15 my mileage is a whopping 469,752 and running awesome except for needing to.pass smog diagnostic shows egr valve insufficient air flow and EDL ? Issue

The tanks half full !!

2003 manual honda civic ex great on gas as long as I make sure it stays in half tank or above ?? If it gets below it start to pull like its ready to run out of gas ??

I haveva 2003 civic ex and im.able to simply replace the part instead of whole fuse box not sure what year that changed but hope its as simple for you . From online directions I was anle to fo.it myself.and saved 100.00 shop wanted !!

All right, apparently you figured out your ELD code already?

The EGR code, is it P0401? The passages clog up, you have to remove the intake manifold and EGR distribution plate (it also holds the 4 fuel injectors) in order to clean out all the carbon buildup from the EGR passages.


For the half tank issue, I'd suspect the "sock" or strainer on the bottom of the pump module has clogged. It's not shown in my Honda parts catalog, but is listed on parts store sites.
