95 civic shift issues
I have a 95 Honda civic with a d15b block and a d16z6 head millage unknown I put a new clutch in it already had a new slave and master I installed a few weeks ago and when the car is running with out the clutch pressed in I can run through all the gears shift with ease it's like the clutch is pressed in but it's not I've tried dropping the tranny and checking the pressure plate the clutch disc throw out bearing pilot bearing all good and installed right I rebleed the system then I removed the slave to see if it was in the hydro system and still no change what am I missing any ideas
I also tried removing the slave cylinder witch should of made it so I coul put it in gear if it was the hydro system and this issue started right after I put the new engine the clutch worked fine until the swap I put a brand new clutch in to eliminate that was told on another forum that it might be the linkage but how would that be if it's all hooked up maybe half shafts I don't know at this point just kind of guessing

D-
Break that into paragraphs and punctuate properly. One longass sentence is hard on the eyes.....
Does the speedometer give any reading while the engine is running and you are shifting through the gears?
Any grinding noises?
The disc: Did it fit the splines of the input shaft correctly? Wrong disc for the trans you are using?

Re: 95 civic shift issues
If the speedo moves then you probably don't have an axle fully inserted into the trans. See if the inner joints are fully seated in the trans.
......or maybe they are too small for this trans? I wasn't clear on what all got swapped. Either way, if you have a speedometer reading then it's lost the connection between differential gears and the wheels, so that leaves the axles as the likely suspects.
Is an inner CV joint cup spinning but not the rest of the axle? Did you manage to pull an inner joint completely apart within its boot?
