My 89ivic has been getting a rain puddle comming through the carpet in the rear right foot bay. The leak is toward the left side of the right bay. The area near the door is dry as is the rear left foot bay. The inside door panels and ceiling are also dry and there are no other visible inside wet spots. It seems like the water is rising up through the floor. I can't track where its comming from. Any suggestions on what to do?

It might be easier to find if you sit in the back of the car while it's raining. The path that it is following to make it to the floor could be drying up if you are not checking until after it has rained. Also may need to pull up the carpet. If the carpet is not flat against the floor the water path may not touch it.

I had a similar puddle with my 88 Accord after I was rear ended. Mine was due to the door getting out of alignment after the accident.
