Re: trans leak

If you just reach up and wiggle the inner CV joints, SOME movement is normal. The seal has to grip tight enough on the CV stub to seal even with all that movement. Machined surfaces of the shafts have to be in perfect condition too.

It's easy to trash axle seals too, bang the end of the axle into one is all it takes. Or knock the spring off the inside of the lip.

Factory seals used, or aftermarket?

If you just reach up and wiggle the inner CV joints, SOME movement is normal.
OTOH, If you can push/pull the inner CV joint on one side and cause the opposite joint to move up and down, that might indicate the differential carrier bearings are loose/worn.

Re: trans leak

I replaced the axle seals the leak is coming from inside a round the main shaft some where cause the fluid is getting all over the clutch causing it to slip could be a main seal but the fluid is mixing with road grim so I can't really tell but I can watch it drip off the flywheel. Now the shaft moves back and forth but also can move in and out doesn't pull out of transmission but a good bit to make me think it shouldn't do so. Now what would be the bell housing where the shaft comes out should there be a seal between the two

Re: trans leak

The only rubber transmission seal inside the bellhousing is for the input shaft.
AFAIK

Re: trans leak

Waaay back in the day, they did use motor oil (??spec was SAE SG rating for 91, and I seriously doubt you will find motor oil with that rating now).
However, motor oil technology has advanced exponentially since that time. Those advances that are great for modern internal combustion engines may not necessarily be better or even good for the transmission.

Hondas service information states the proper fluid is Hondas MTF. I'd use it.
