5th Gen issues
5th Gen issues
Iv posed this in the 6th gen by accident but :
Base of the story is..
Bought a 95 DX... GREAT condition but has some issues.
- Clutch doesnt release engage until the pedal is almost all the way released (Previous owner said its a new clutch)
- Shift linkage is WAY WAY loose
- Needs a good cleaning :P (Its a dirty bitch)
- Any sugestions as to where to start to make this handle better?
Its a first car for my Wife, And shes never driven standard. I figured this would be a great car to start with, and build up as she builds up.
thanks for the info!

Re: 5th Gen issues
adjust the clutch pedal and see if that helps. my 93 civic clutch is the same way, because I bought a SUPER cheap *** clutch ($50) and it engages worse then the previous clutch that was slipping.
As for shift linkage, get new bushings for the linkage. here is a couple good kits
