I have 98 honda civic lx automatic transmission that is having issues. The transmission started out hesitating and then it went to vibrating and staling, but only after it runs a while and gets hot/warm. Now when ithe car gets warm after it runs a while it is stalling and vibrating really bad. The car has roughly 200,000 miles on it. One forum on this site https://www.civicforums.com/forums/1...-slippage.html suggested it was the throttle body issue and it needed to be clean and it did not state how to fix it, but it was a manual transmission. Does this mean a rebuild or a different transmission? Any suggestions to fix it would be greatly appreciated.
