D16y7 help

Hey guys I have a 94 civic with a d16y7 swap. Is there a way to time it without taking the crank pulley off?

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

Re: D16y7 help

"Time it" for what? Timing belt work, or setting ignition?

Crank pulley and timing cover should always have their own timing marks. TDC is TDC no matter if looking at harmonic balancer or timing belt crank gear.

Re: D16y7 help

We'll I did my valve seals and I took the timing belt off thinking the gear would go with the rest that I took out. But it didnt. Ultimately messing up the timing.
