Need info on Honda Interface Module

I see these Honda Interface Modules advertised on the internet that you get hardware and software you plug into a laptop and you can access any Honda or Acura 1992 and up. My question is does anyone have one of these and do they work? I purchased a 1994 Civic DX with the 1.5 16 valve engine and I would like to be able to read what the sensor values are through the 3 pin connector. Any information would be appreciated.

Dealers are dumping their H.I.M.'s because they are obsolete, no longer supported or used by Honda for any purpose.

Beware the hype. Sellers want to get rid of them and may say anything to do that.

I can't tell you much else, other than in the last 10 years at the dealer I have used that thing maybe a grand total of one time.
