Ciivic gets warmed up, engine dies

Greetings. This is my first post. Have a 91 DX 4 dr. sedan, 1.5 ltr engine, with 260,000 miles. A week ago car began stalling upon reaching normal operating temperature, and won't run smoothly again until it cools off. Didn't at first associate the problem with engine temp., thought it might be a contaminated fuel problem. Drained tank, added fresh fuel, no improvement. Suspected plug wires but they were replaced 35,000 miles ago, and get a strong spark when grounded. Checked distributor cap and discovered the rotor was falling apart. It literally wobbled on the shaft. Installed new rotor, cleaned cap contacts, still no improvement. Have compared the two fuel injectors' resistances against manual specs., and they seem ok. Hate to start throwing parts at it. Does anyone have a good idea why the motor dies upon reaching operating temp.? Appreciate any suggestions. Thnks

It sounds like a bad ecu.
