Engine Rebuild? How much $$$
A week ago I went for a drive about 15 minutes into the drive I
notice that the car wouldn't go over 40 and RPM was well hitting 7k and what
I dint notice is that my car was in gear 1 and I was basically forcing it to go, the car turned on the check engine light and it started smoking a little
it did not turn on any more, we tried switching the battery and the starter.
We also got it checked by a mechanic and he said the engine was done and
that best solution was getting a new engine or trying rebuilding the engine,
the problem is that he didn't know how much money it would cost, My question is do you think I messed up the engine bad driving it on one, is it worth
replacing at what price would I be looking at
