I own a 96 Honda civic with factory alarm that acts like kill switch only disabled through remote not key. So I have owned this car for years it is meticulously maintained and everything is stock. I shipped my car from oregon to mass on car carrier the alarm apparently(it did) went off until battery died when car got to ma driver jumped and drove into driveway. Not enough to recharge I know. Then a couple of weeks later I jumped no problems and drove car to storage. Ran perfectly. Then after 3 1/2 months of storage I went to start. I knew battery would be dead and it was it is a old battery. Now my confusion begins hooked car up properly with jumper cables and yes the connections were clean. I got nothing not a light nit a chirp nothing no dome no dash nothing. When I put car in storage I knew battery was going to die but...? Is it the fact the battery is so dead even jump won't start possible but I should get something?? Or is it so dead that even when trying to jump it won't let me deactivate alarm with remote which could cause same issue??? Or could I have misteriously blown my 40qmp or 80amp main relays??? Don't understand how since car was running fine when I shut off to store it. Any ideas or do you think it's the alarm or relays or ?????? I appreciate any help.

Check the huge fuses.
If the big 80 amp fuse is blown (or whatever the biggest one is), I'd suspect you (or someone) hooked the jumper cables up backwards, even if only long enough to make a spark.

Check where the ground cable bolts to the body. May be rusted and not making contact.

A test light and a little knowledge of electricity can go a long way toward figuring out this problem quickly.
