so i bought this civic a lil while ago and it had tags but now i need new ones i took it to deq and it failed. co2 ten times the limit. and when i changed the lights in my dash i noticed they took out the cel light and when i put it in after driving the car for a couple miles the cel light comes on. so i checked the code and got code 43. witch i know is fuel system failur. but i was wondering if anyone had any ideas what would make the co2 levels so high? and to my guess it has something to do with the cel.

i have chenged the fuel pressure regulator, the fuel filter done a complete tune up including all the gaskets and everything. but it didnt help at all..

any ideas?

you could have a tiny hole in gas tank somewhere which is de-pressurizing. I had similar issues.
