1991 Honda Civic DX ECU Problem
1991 Honda Civic DX ECU Problem
Hey here,
I am a new guy and new to hondas in general . About to pick up a 91 DX Hatch for pretty cheap and clean, the guy says only one problem . Runs great everything in good shape no rust all that, but everytime you turn the car off he says you have to unplug the ECU for like 3-5 seconds, then when you plug it up the car will start up and ride perfect .
Does anyone know if this is a serious issues, should I hold on the sale or what . Any help would be great ! Thanks ..

He will not budge on the price, I feel like I shouldn't . I can't seem to find any good deal for a hatchback around were I live . Can't really seem to find any car for a deal .

Whats he want for a price? mileage? any other issues?.
Use your gut and if it seems otherwise worthy then go for it and find a replacement ECU. If its the only issue it could be well worth it.
