The car is an 88, I haven't looked at the computer yet, but I think they are using the old harness set-up simply because they used the MSD cheapo set-up to activate the VTEC. It works just fine, just looks cheap. I'm thinking hands down, change it over to the newer harness and use a VTEC ECM. Right? Also, is there a better unit than the P28? or is that the only option? Or am I just completely off base here?
