Rep Power: 0 '91 Civic window problem
Hello all, this is my first post so please direct me to a different area if I managed to pick the wrong forum to post my issue.
I own a 1991 Honda Civic HB and managed to break the regulator on the drivers side. I also shattered the window. After hunting through many junkyards, I was able to find a '90 hatch with the regulator but missing the window. I ended up purchasing the window off of craigslist from a man who claimed it was exactly what I needed.
After installing the regulator, I attempted to install the window. With all bolts tightened and in place the window still leans to the left and encounters a lot of resistance when rolling up and sometimes down. My assumption is that the window is too large or my regulator is bent.
I was hoping that someone here could post the dimensions of their 4th gen HB window so I could either confirm or deny that being a problem. Maybe someone else has been in a similar situation and would be able to point out my problems.
Any help is greatly appreciated. I thank you for your time.
