Grinding Noise After CV Axle Replacement Both in and Out of Gear

Ok, to start I have a 1994 civic dx sedan. I just replaced both front cv axles and everything went smooth on the passenger side but i had a hang up on the driver side. After screwing up the splines on the shaft and going and buying a new one it slid in perfect just like the other side. I put everything back together and go to start her up. That is when i heard a horrible grinding/vibration sort of noise. It doesnt matter if it's in neutral or park or in gear it just grinds. transmission and oil levels are both good and clear of metal. What even confuses me more is that if I drive it around 35 miles per hour the sound gets way quieter but at low rpms and high rpms it sounds worst.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well in case anyone is interested, somehow it was the flywheel cover that came out of alignment and got some dents and caused some serious loud rubbing and vibrating. Should be an easy cheap fix
