Transmission leak
Transmission leak
Just did a drain and fill of atf about 2 weeks ago on my 1991 civic dx auto 140k. SInce then, it has been running fine, though still occasionally slipping when I punch the gas especially in corners, although it has done that since I bought it two years ago. Anyways, it is now leaking from somewhere, although I cant figure out where, there is a small puddle of atf every morning when I leave for work, and the transmission itself is always soaked in atf on the bottom, although it almost looks like it is leaking from above the pan. THe strange part is even though it has been leaking for over two weeks, when i check the dipstick, it is still full. Any ideas? It doesnt appear to be the pan gasket really although I suppose that is where I should start, and maybe replace the plug itself...I just dont know where its leeking from. Any ideas would be appreciated
thanks!
thanks!
