Grinding while letting off gas
I have a 1991 EF HB with a d16z6 swap with 60k on it. Every time I let off the gas there is a terrible grinding sound. It is in all gears. It stops when i push in the clutch or if i give it a little bit of gas. This noise seriously freaks me out since I am brand new to normal engines (Always had rotary.) I know that my 2nd gear is going out since it grinds and pops out on occasion, but I don't see it being related since it happens in all gears. I also have a short shift, so I have no clue if that could be causing it either.
