Hello,

I have a 91 honda civic 2 dr hatchback and I'm trying to get the washer pump working.

Pulled the pump...it runs with power supplied. Didn't check for physical pump operation but it's making noise.

Tested for power at the fuse. Wiper/washer/ fuse.. I have power and the wipers work.

Pulled the control arm for the wiper switch off. It was fairly dirty inside and I cleaned it up with contact cleaner and Q tips..still nothing happening with the washer???

Is it worth buying a new/used wiper switch or is there another fuse or something in the system.

Found a continuity schematic for the switch....Everything passed except the one for the washer..so that's the problem and if I can't repair it I'll test and buy one from a wrecker.
