92 idle surge
Hey guys a have 92 civic ex. Its an automatic and has roughly 270000 miles on it. The other day i was driving and it overheated and was reving itself up. I replaced the radiator today. The idle surge has not gone away. If im sitting in park the car will rev itself from 1000 to ~1600 and drop back to 1000rpm repeatedly. If i shift into drive the car will still idle a little high but the surgeing will quit. I was wondering if anyone has any advice as i cannot properly burp the coolant system until the surge problem has been solved. Thanks in advance!
