Angry code 4, dist replaced. what now??

88 civic all factory other than cold air intake. D15b2 I believe. Car stopped working so we replaced the distributor did new valve cover gasket set cause the wells were leaking. New plugs and wires..

anyway, car runs now.. still throws a code 4 and starts running really rough and loses power, but stays running now. What else could it be besides the distributor?? This is the second replacement dist we installed so I am semi sure the dist is good... im thinking ECU is unlikely but dont have a spare to swap.. any guesses???

Code 4 is the crank sensor. It's under the lower timing cover. Have fun with that.
