New to Honda's Need Direction

HI everyone.

I am new to the honda scene and need some direction and help.

I have a 1990 civic hatch, 1.5l tbi that i use as a race car. Short track oval. Just looking for some pointers on how to make it work better and what parts fit. i mostly use second gear but am wondering if other civics or acuras have interchangable transmissions with different gear ratios. not allowed to use 4 speed manual. What can i do to boost hp? what spark plugs work best in these as far as high revving goes? will the 1.5l multi port block and head fit? will tranny from 92 to 95 fit? are axles interchangable? I have to use the tbi intake. are there any other options for injectors? Most honda people in my area just swap to a dohc engine when trying to juice up their cars so noone really has any info fpr me. any help would be great thanks

Re: New to Honda's Need Direction

I noticed the most power with NGK iridium plugs. COld air intake will boost hp also considerably.
