97 Civic EX / 250K / manual. Within the last week or so Ive noticed that Ive been having a problem getting my car into gear. So much so that I almost cant do it with one hand, several times Ive had to force it into gear. I am afraid to keep doing this & possibly risking further damage! It
seems to only do this behavior after its been parked for awhile. Like over night or for several hours. It does this just when I first start it & need first gear or reverse the first time. Otherwise it goes into gear smooth & like normal like it should. Its almost as if it is the beginning symptom of a bigger problem in the near(?) future.

I HOPE to get it fixed SOON! But for now it is my only car. I dont know much about cars, but from what Ive read here & what some people at work have suggested, it seems like it could be something clutch related.

Ive had this car 9 years. It had been an 1 owner / 32K when I bought it. It has been the BEST car. Ive never had one problem out of it, & always keep my oil changed on time (Mobil 1 synthetic), & then this started happening. Does anyone have any suggestions, ideas, or idea what it might be or cost to fix? - Knoxville, TN.
