Oil on Spark Plug

Hey guys, Im running on 3 cylinders right now in my Honda Civic. I pull out all the spark plugs and 3 out of 4 are bone dry, and the last one is covered in oil on the electrode side (bottom) of spark plug. I know its not my Valve cover or spark plug gaskets because the plug tube is dry. What could it be? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also the inside of my valve cover smells like oil and raw fuel.

Re: Oil on Spark Plug

Change your spark plug tube seals, the best idea would be to buy the complete valve cover gasket kit.

+1000. It also comes with the grommets for the bolts as well. Don't forget to change those out!

Re: Oil on Spark Plug

Ya I just got off the phone with a mechanic and he said it's either my piston rings (car does not smoke constantly) or my Valve Guides. My Dad is going to replace my pistons and rings, and Ill probably have him do the guides as well as the valve seals. I appreciate your guys's help. Really. Not having a car sucks
Thanks again
Aaron
