2001 civic evap soleniod valve
I was told i needed a new evap soleniod valve and this was determined by the engine light diagnostic test. The mechanic told me this was above the gas tank and that this was not a cheap job. Would this affect my mpg and is his recommendation the only solution? What would happen if i keep driving?

Your in the wrong forum. This is 1st-5th gen and you have a 7th gen.

What is the specific code?
