Decomposing animal smell....help!
Decomposing animal smell....help!
I drive an 88' sedan, I'm fairly certain that a mouse has died and I've narrowed it down to the front left area. Now my problem is how do I further locate and remove this smelly problem? Any ideas about its whereabouts would be nice because I'm stumped.
Re: Decomposing animal smell....help!
That blows. I'd start checking under the hood or any place where something can easily end up without your knowledge. My friend had a birds nest in the air dam or whatever it's called on his Civic. It just fell out one day. You just gotta....pardon the wording....use your nose. As long as you have the area narrowed down, it'll make the job a little easier. I know one of my teachers had a rabbit somehow end up ON his transmission. It got cooked.
Re: Decomposing animal smell....help!
Ok so I checked the intake box, and it was clean. I also gave it a good look under the hood, and I can smell where it is, but can't see it. anyone else have any ideas about where to look?
Update: So I looked through my glove box and a mouse has been in there, which means it died and nested in my dash. Does anyone know how to take my dash off or have a good website that has a walkthrough? Any help is appreciated because the smell is getting worse.
