93 civic started running rough, guzzles fuel
On my way home on a road trip, i pulled over at a gas station and as I slowed down and the rpm's dropped to idle the car started running really rough (enough to move the car). The car proceeded to lose power once on the road again. It ran rough until the rpm's were high enough then it ran smoother (smoothest around 110km\h-120km\h) for the last leg of my journey I was basically full throttle to keep going highway speed and my car no longer idled by the time i pulled up to my house.
Before trip:
Replaced: spark plugs, timing belt & tensioner, Power steering belt and alternator belt.
Ran amazing for the way there and wonderful gas mileage.
After trip:
Replaced O2 sensor, cap & rotor, wires
Runs smoother (doesn`t shake vehicle) but still doesn`t idle and runs rough and very rich. The 3rd piston has less suction in comparison to the others. Don`t know what else to fix, not worth throwing any more money at it uselessly, even if I have a contact who gets me mechanic prices.
