Angry 95 civic ex radiator fan?

I own a 95 civic coupe ex with a 1.6 liter SOHC VTEC......
Besides that, My radiator fan stopped working completely, found no issue why it would stop working. Since I bought the car in feb of 09, temp gauge never raised, then all of a sudden it raised to hot and about overheated. I pulled over let it cool down then proceeded to be cautious of the temp til i was able to get it in a safe place. I checked every possible issue that it might have been that caused to fan to go out. I even bought a new radiator.
I now run a wire from the battery to radiator to a switch in my glove box that I have to turn on and off..
Its quite annoying so I could use some help as to how to fix the problem since I am also going to try to sell it soon.
Much help would be appreciated!

In my experience, the fan never really kicked on unless it needed to cool the engine down. Did you check to see if the fan was running when the car overheated?

My issue is that I am leaking coolant somewhere. Even if you're not having that issue, you'll want to be sure to bleed the coolant lines of any air, and top off the coolant once you're done.

Yeah, I checked while it was rising, it never kicked on once. I've flushed the coolant too before. Hmm. It doesn't overheat anymore since I connected a wire directly and use the switch but, I want to be able to fix the issue so I can sell it.

Then it's gotta be a bad relay switch. That's just about the only thing left.
