Window motor does not stop when window raised to top

Window motor does not stop when window raised to top
I have a '94 civic lx. When the passenger window is raised, the window goes all the way to the top but the motor does automatically stop when the window reaches the top. Window keeps bumping up against the top rail until switch disengaged. What's the problem?
