Factory Air Filter Box

Hello everyone, newbe here, just bought a 1994 Civic 4dr sedan for my 16yr old son and it is missing the factory air filter box. Would anyone have a pic they could post showing how it is positioned and what it looks like? Thank you and I will be taking some pics tommorrow and will post a few.

Re: Factory Air Filter Box

I tried looking on craigslist for a shot of a stock engine bay, but couldnt find one in my area. Your best bet would be to ditch the idea of picking up a new one and find a short ram or cold air intake for it. Search ebay and pick up one of those, just be sure to change the filter because its crap.

Re: Factory Air Filter Box

Yeah, it actually has one on it. I was just thinking about maybe putting it back to stock condition for now, but the more I see online the more I realize that this mod is the 1st thing everyone does to the Honda's. So I might leave it in there! Looks like it could be a K&N filter, and I have one of them on my 55 Chevy, so I'll clean it and oil it for now and see what I can find locally for the stock stuff.....would like to have it just in case we sell it later on. Thanks for the info, and I'll post a pic or two tonight.

Best be would be a junkyard or even craigslist, a lot of older civic parts are on there ALL the time. In for pics.

Re: Factory Air Filter Box

Sorry Guy's, been working too much....now don't think I've got anything special here! It's just a plain jane wht. no power 1994 Civic, but it is fairly clean, (still needs to be washed and spot clean the seats) and not leaking any oil. I'll go take a couple of pics now, even with it being nitetime now, and post 'em! BTW if anyone has a pic of the backside of the fuse panel cover so I know what fuse controls what, it would be helpful. Mine is missing so I don't have the schematic drawing that is on the backside. I checked out E-Bay there is a cover on there but no backside pics!

A couple more, BTW I paid $1800.00 for it and it only has 123,000 miles on it, everything works except the radio, and as you can see I started working on it.
