How to install replacement hood release.
For anyone who has bought a release from me here are install instructions.
Remove plastic tab from driver side kick panel.
Unhook the kick and swing it out of the way. Using a pair of wire cutters cut the remaining plastic off.
It should come of in large chunks since it's very brittle. This is why it broke in the first place.
It should now look like this.
Slide release over top and tighten with allen key.
Replace kick panel and you're done!
