Tail light Socket

The driver side tail light park/brake socket on my 99 civic lx seems to have some issues. I have tried new bulbs but only the brake part of the bulb lights up, the parking light does not. What I would like to know is if there is something that I can try that may fix it without replacing, if not is there a way to run a wire from passenger side over as a jumper to turn on parking light and my final remedy would be if someone has a part number for this socket that I could use to order it online. In my searches I have found that only 99-00 civics use this type of socket which sucks because none of the junk yards around here have them. If another honda uses the same please let me know and i will ask the yards again.

Thanks,
Kevin

Re: Tail light Socket

If the socket is o.k. a jumper could be ran easily. Do you have a working marker light on the problem side ??

Some sockets are shown available (some appear tied to harness) If you need a socket use the oem # and order from the dealer, shipping will double the cost.

Re: Tail light Socket

the top is a turn signal so my jumper would have to come from passenger side wire that runs parking lights. just have to find what wire has constant power for parking and not while braking correct?
