Help! D16Y7 Engine Swap
Need to pick your brains! I recently slung a rod in my gas saver and need to swap engines. Inside of the block is completely destroyed! I am on a budget and I am getting a used engine from a local junkyard. My questions are what parts do I need to replace on the "new" engine, i.e. water pump, timing belt, etc., while I have it out of the car? Is there a specific engine I should look for my replacement? What year models should I be looking for? I am looking for gas mileage and dependability. Thanks for your help!

Budget: Get the identical engine.
Yes, replace maintenance stuff while it's out and easy to do.
