Building a b16
Building a b16
Sup everyone any anyone. I was planning on building my d16 and change internals etc to boost. But I came across a b16a2 bare block... Soap I figured why not build that... And drop it in when it's finished?
Ok well I've done little research on the pistons and rods for this block. I heard a Ctr kit is no good.. So what's a good compression set up for a b16?

Re: Building a b16
Pushing.... Nah but really what I was asking is what are good piston set to drop? Or should I go oem parts since its rebuilt throw boost on that?
Re: Building a b16
Stock pistons should hold about 7psi on a regular basis. If you go more than that and you most likely will want to try, forged pistons, upgraded rods, and crank are advisable. If your a fan of bisimoto's work, I'd say go hardcore. If you wanna show off your turbo at the parking lot; go arp studs, thicker head gasket, and rings(I've always been a fan of moly rings). A turbo will compensate for head selection, which ever you choose.
