D16Y8 Rebuild Cost? DIY
I have an engine rebuild class coming up next semester in school and they said you can bring in your own engine and rebuild it. I was thinking of rebuilding my y8. I do not plan on a turbo or high compression setup. Stock rebuild would be fine. Maybe upgraded cams idk? I will be doing all the work myself other than a hot tank on the block possibly. Just a good cleaning on all the parts that need it and anything that needs to be replaced replaced. Should I buy I rebuild kit and go with that? should I just clean it up? never done a rebuild and don't want to spend a ton of money. I have done some research but most everyone is looking for turbo builds and high comp builds.
