97 civic ex turbo help

Ive had my civic for about a year now. Its in mint condition and my dads (mechanic) been working on it since it was new and it only has 115xxx miles.

Im thinking of installing a turbo and was seeking some help for parts. I dont want anything high end as Im not racing and Im only really after some horsepower and blow off valve =P.

What parts do I need to get myself started? I heard stay away from ebay turbos. And what psi do you recommend running to keep mostly stock internals?

If you're going the extra step into getting a turbo then why would you cheap out? I don't see anything good coming from a cheap turbo setup, imo it wouldn't be worth the time, money, and effort.

Here ya go, a few posts down.

I'd look into buying someone's used kit if your trying to save money (it's tried and tested, just bolt it up). Piecing together a kit will be a lot more work and cost more.

Edit: just noticed this thread is 4 months old, oh well.
