Engine Swap???

i have a 97 dx coupe and i came across a guy who swapped out his engine with one from an acura. said all it it took was the engine tranny and wiring harness nd it was pretty much a straight switch. im not too sure which engine it was that he swapped it out with nd was wondering if anyone had any ideas as to which one it wld have been. im not sure if he was blowing smoke but he said with the swap alone he noticed huge difference in power...is this possible without all kinds of modification other than dropping in a different block? im clueless on this...plzzz give feedback

Re: Engine Swap???

could be anything from an acura EL (civic) to a V-6.
Most of them requires specific mounts for swap.
if you just read around you will find tons of info.
