B18C Swap

Ok, So Imma Start the New Year With a New Engine, After Looking around a Bit and Going thru the Pro's and Con's Imma go with the B18C. I found this Complete Change Over, I'm also going with a TurboCharger Kit. Yes I am going the Forced Induction Route, I considered the K20 with Bolt-on's & Scream'N Vtec CrossOver But I'm too Hooked on the Pssshhhhh.... Sound. I know I will have to Up-Grade some Internals also. The reason I'm Posting this Is to get U guy's Opinion on where I'm Getting My parts from and would like to know if anyone has better, more Reputable, or Dependable Sources. I'm also open to Opinions as far as the engine Swap goes, I plan on doing this by Jan 21st at the latest (Actual Ordering and Putting everything into play). With that Being Said, Thanks in Advance and let the OMFG whatta Noob Begin,

Most PPL Say U can RuN with the Stock Pistons if U boost Low 8-10, Which sounds about what Imma Do, But Right Now I'm Looking Into Supertech, Eagle Rod, and Wisecos. Right Now I'm Leaning toward the Wisecos, Cuz I might wanna Turn the Boost Up a Bit Later.

Ya Got any Suggestions Bro?

Re: B18C Swap

Make sure you get low compression pistons when you change them out. The b18c has relatively high compression, which is why some people don't like to turbo it, but change out the pistons and its one of the best turbo motors out there.

B18C5 (ITR)Has a Higher Compression Pistons Correct? I'm GoiNg with the B18C1 (GSR) Which has Lower Compression Pistons Stock, But I'm Still Gunna Upgrade them with some Wiseco ones to be on the safe side. However I read that the (ITR) Tranny Holds up alot better w/Boost and Reduces 50-80% of wheel Hop off the Line, Is that True? Or do you think I can Just Upgrade the (GSR) Tranny and Get the Same Results for Less?

Thankz In Advance 4 The Reply's Everyone
