New to the site and new on the honda scene and looking for some suggestions. Recently got 98 civic dx completly stock, 57xxxmiles, 5 speed coupe. And im looking for an exuast and felt this was the place to start.

I want a full exaust system with a deep not ricy sound and want to know if anyone has any suggestions of specific brands and whereabout you purchused them from so please any suggestions?

also another question i had was on some cars the exaust out the back is angled up instead of streight out the back, do certain brands just come like that or is that a custom thing that has to be when it is installed?

There are tons of good exhaust systems out there you just need to search.

that's why I am asking what people think are the best, money is not a issue i want personal opinions of good, deep sounding exuast. and any personal input of the back can pointing up, i like that look i dont want mine sticking strieght out.

I've heard good things about the "eBay" exhausts. The only problem are the cheap brackets they use to mount... But they have a nice deep sound like a Flowmaster.

The Apexi N1 is also my favorite sounding exhaust. Check out different ones on YouTube to hear them.

If you want to know the best exhaust that give you the best gains then its either the buddy club spec 2 because it is just a pip with no resonator or muffler, also would be either the j's racing or toda, and also the mugen exhausts.

i have a 06 civic ex coupe 5 speed with a skunk 2 catback exhaust system. I felt a minor horsepower gain and it sounds awesome. I searched for the best sounding one and it has a nice deep tone it doesnt sound like a ricer piece of ****. I recommend skunk 2

I ended purchesing and apexi n1 but havn't had the time to get it on my car yet, appriciate the feedback ill let you know how it is when i get it on there!
