d15b vtec turbo cel at 5k in 3rd gear
I have a d15b vtec turbo, running 8lbs of boost. runs fine until i get into third gear wide open throttle at 5krpm cel and it goes into limp mode. only does it in this gear and only at 5krpm. throws code 3 map sensor, put in brand new map sensor and still does the exact same thing. Any advice would be great.
also when i turn the car off and re-start it the cel is off and it drives fine again until i get into wot 5k 3rd gear.
Mods include: d15b sohc vtec motor. greddy turbo kit, greddy e-manage, p28, RC310 injectors, greddy boost controller and turbo timer, 3" magnaflow turbo back exhaust, etc.

I'm gonna guess that you're running more boost than the stock MAP sensor can read, so once it goes off scale, it throws your car into limp mode..

I'm not sure if that's what's happening or not.. But unless you plan on running 44.1psi, a 3 BAR MAP is gonna be excessive.. 1 BAR is 14.7psi. AEM makes a 1.5 BAR MAP sensor..

I got a code for map sensor voltage. (code 3) What bar does the stock map sensor read to? I'm running 8lbs of boost, and the car feels strong otherwise.

Not sure what a D15's MAP sensor is good up to. The D17's is good to 10psi, though.. I tried googling it but couldn't find a definite answer.

I wonder if installing a missing link would fix your MAP problems.

I'm not sure what "missing link" means. Sorry. 
EDIT: Just googled looks like that piece just tricks the ecu to not see the boost, but I have a greddy e-manage to control fuel along with the p28 ecu.

it's a check valve that prevents the map sensor from seeing the boost.. not quite tricks the ecu
