Ask who did the modifications to the car, or rip the motor apart. Those are your two options.

*sigh*... Why did you buy a car if you didnt know **** about it? Buying a car with the correct motor in it is usually easier than buying some random car, not knowing anything about it, and then going and trying to figure out how to get more power out of it... What was your thought process exactly?

Otherwise, don't expect a wealth of information because you asked for it. Do your research.

And here I thought this www.spoonfeedthe****ingnoob.com
Congrats on buying a $500 Civic, you got a good deal and have good platform do to whatever you want to it. There are folks running 400whp on that engine and your swap options are fairly limitless.
But you need to do some homework on it. Here's a freebie. Go over to d-series.org and look around at the build threads. They aren't as nice over there as we are here, so tuck in that lower lip, wipe your nose, square your shoulders and expect to catch **** if you ask open-ended, uneducated questions. But the information is there for you to absorb.

As a noob myself I can tell you right now their not being unfair my man, I have caught enough shots because I have asked some dumb **** myself. The key is knowing what you want to do, do some research on it, and then if your stuck on something ask around here and if you seem like your in genuine need of assistance of feedback, they will help you.
