Noob looking for some suspension info

I just burst onto the honda civic seen. I have a 1997 civic DX coupe with a manual transmission. I prefer to keep most things stock (just to be differant). However i would to adjust the suspension. I want to lower it and i understand i should use coilovers. How should i go about this whole process? What else has to be done for a successful installation? what kinds should i buy? Id appreciate any info.

Thanks

Necessary pieces:
Camber kit if you dont wanna buy tires every year, at least the front.
washer trick in the rear.
springs, and stuts, or coilovers.

Classic setup would be Ground Control adjustable coils, and koni yellows, but it really depends on your plans for the car and how much you wanna spend.

Why coil overs? You can purchase loweru=ing springs in 1", 1.5", 2" and even 2.5" drops. We recommend you stick with drops no more than 1.5"; anything more will have suspension difficyulties in alignment, rubbing, poor ride, etc.
You can of course use coil overs but most are pretty high rate springs that offer stiff rides.
