Re: Coilover question
if you check out injectedperformance.com they should be able to help you find the best price. and as for suggestions i say go with the SS get the pillow ball mounts its nice being able to set camber that way. dont go basics cause if your gonna spend that kinda money get something you can adjust. seems silly to get coilovers and not get dampening adjustment ones

Re: Coilover question
The Tein SS #DSA22-KUSS2 are the ones without the Pillow ball mounts and the Tein SS #DSA22-2USS1 are the ones with the pillow ball mounts. there is $160 bucks between the two in price so if you are looking for an in expensive set of coil overs that might not be the way to go. If you are just cruising the streets and a little drag strip now and then you really could save alot of money by going with the Skunk2 coil overs or the Omni power coil overs or even the the D2 coil overs. there are alot of places that have good deals on those products.

Re: Coilover question
I'd go ksports, much more adjustability. I'm probably going to pick up some megans and hope thoes work out for me. I used to be sold on the SS's but i'm really not interested in paying for that green brand name anymore. My wallet isnt that big, plus the red on the megans matches my whip a lot better. yay.

Re: Coilover question
^ megans are completly adjustable damping and ride height- your friend need to adjust them accordingly if hes looking for comfort. I've talked to several members on here and they love them.
Im dead set on megans because of what i've heard form members on here. No1 has really posted anything about their experience with the ksports. Basically you got two drivers in my opinion. Drivers that cruise over to the gf's house, car dropped, think its cool. Other drivers track it or push it on the back roads and are concerned with how the car handels and responds, and then they cruise around, and know their suspensions dope. Basically anyways. So when you hear people saying this or that, you really gotta look at what kind of standards they are evaluating the suspension ride from.. if their sub box bounces in the back when going over a speed bump- does it suck... or does it suck because the adjustablility doesnt let you reach the range you want it to, or does it promote too much over.under steer for their liking...
Also when I called up megan and talked with them, they said their Coilovers are covered by warrant for 1 year. After that its like 75 bucks to ship it to them and have them rebuild it-- something I want to make sure they can provide me with. I wouldnt blow nearly 1k on suspension if it wasnt rebuildable.

Re: Coilover question
Thanks for the info. After reading what you wrote I started reading up on the megan coilovers. From what I've read so far, they seem ah lot better than the ksports and the tein basics.
check this link out, there is some good info about the megan coilovers here
